I help build and sustain teams.

May, 2016. I sat in my office at the end of another long day and I could sense that my life was about to change.

After 18 years, as a teacher and coach at the college level, I realized I was more interested in developing my players as people rather than manufacturing a particular outcome.

But the system tells you to focus on the outcomes, not the people in the process.

Results become more important than relationships.

Does this sound familiar?

It’s a system that turns the joy of the job into simply surviving another season.

Stress leads to distrust and any failure results in a culture of self-protection.

I had the recurring thought, “It doesn’t have to be this way.”

For years I had studied leadership. It became my passion, both personally and professionally.

I read books. I wrote leadership curriculum. I turned my teams into leadership labs.

And here’s what I learned:

The success of your team – whether it’s academic, athletic, or corporate – depends on the strengths and relationships of the team members, and the leader – YOU – directly influence that process.

So I left my role within a broken system and dedicated myself to helping others thrive within that system.

What did I discover?

I was capable of becoming a healthier leader, developing other healthy leaders, and influencing high performing teams.

The other lesson?

Leadership isn’t simply a skill that I could learn. I realized I was energized by helping others learn to become better leaders while developing high performing teams.

“[Molly] is not just another speaker on leadership. Her simple and powerful approach shifts your thinking” – Debbie Watson, President, Barat Academy, St. Louis Mo

I now work with teams in athletics, academics, and the corporate sector.

I provide team-building experiences, leadership development, conflict resolution workshops, team culture workshops, and tools for personal growth.

My work is centered around experiencing lightbulb moments (ah-ha moments).

My hope is that I won’t simply speak to a group, lead team-building exercises, or facilitate corporate workshops, but rather that I will provide a transformational experience for all participants.

My work can be done IN-PERSON (face-to-face) or ONLINE (through remote platforms).

Need a shift in your team OR leadership paradigm?

I’d love to talk with you about working together because it doesn’t have to be this way …

Testimonials

"It was a pleasure to work with Molly as a fellow mentor to the startup accelerator participants. Molly helps entrepreneurs grapple with the realities of being a leader while building their personal dreams. The participants were moved by Molly's experiential learning environment and they left with more confidence to be the leaders they are capable of. Molly's events are a great balance of leadership philosophies and practical skill-building."

“Molly is not a coach who barks orders, she is an artist. The art just happens to be the people in the process. Molly inspires performance and she leads by example. I have been changed by the time I have spent with Molly. I believe that you will feel the same way after an event with her. Molly doesn’t give answers, but helps you ask better questions.”

RACHEL TWIST TEACHER/COACH SKUTT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, OMAHA NE

“Molly has a way that captivates her audience from the moment she enters a room. My team felt an immediate connection to what she was saying and kept that message and knowledge within our program for the entire season.  We would be in the middle of a practice or half time talk and someone (and a different someone!) would always say "remember what we did/learned/experienced with Molly..."  Molly is a program changer!”

LAURA-ANN LANE, HEAD FIELD HOCKEY COACH, NICHOLS COLLEGE

“I have worked with Molly with both coaches at our coaching clinics and with my team. The passion and knowledge that she brought to both settings is second to none. Specifically, with my team, she grabbed and held their attention, related to them right away, and was able to help them work through what leadership looked and sounded like. Her team-building activities illuminated what areas would be important to stay connected as a team as we moved through our season. An investment in bringing Molly to your campus is an investment in your future success!”

She is insightful, organized, and truly cares about making a positive impact on people. If you are in a rut with your team, or maybe just looking for a different take on a situation you need to connect with Molly. She will provide options, answers, and follow-up. She has definitely been a positive influence on our program.”
