Meet the Moment is more than just a book.

Four Things This Book Will Teach You
Leadership is not a title. It’s a way of living in the world. Meet the Moment is built around four core ideas:
1. Meet Yourself: Clarity & Courage
You’ll be invited to lead from who you actually are… not who you think you’re supposed to be.
2. Meet Your Community of Support: Belonging, Perspective, Wisdom & Growth
You’ll learn that growth doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens in connection. The right people don’t just cheer you on; they help you see more clearly and grow more consistently.
3. Meet the People You Lead: Empathy, Proximity & Trust
You’ll discover that leadership built at a distance rarely lasts. When people feel seen, heard, and known, everything changes.
4. Meet the Moment: Adaptability & Presence
You’ll learn that leadership isn’t about controlling every outcome — it’s about responding to what’s unfolding. The moments we meet are asking you to adjust without losing yourself.

Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here.
If we were sitting across from each other at a coffee shop, I’d probably start by asking you questions—not about what you do, but who you are. That curiosity has shaped most of my life and work, long before I ever stood on a stage or wrote a book.
My career path wasn’t a straight line to becoming a speaker or facilitator, but everything I did along the way prepared me for this work. I have always paid attention—to people, to teams, and to my own life. I’ve noticed how often capable, caring people feel disconnected from themselves, from each other, or from the work they once loved. I’ve noticed how much energy we spend trying to “push through,” when what we really need is permission to stop.
For years, I worked as a college soccer coach and educator. I loved the competition, the strategy, and the pursuit of excellence. I also saw the cost of environments that value outcomes over people.
That’s where my life began to shift.
Today, I create spaces for leaders, teams, and organizations to notice what’s actually going on and to choose how they want to respond. My work isn’t about fixing people or handing out answers. It’s about helping people listen to their lives, to each other, and to the moments that matter most.
I believe leadership is deeply human. I believe clarity often comes through reflection. I believe connection is built in small, intentional moments. And I believe most people already have more wisdom than they give themselves credit for.
Meet the Moment grew out of those beliefs. It is rooted in conversations, stories, questions, and moments where I had to meet my own life. It’s an invitation to meet the moment wherever you are.
Outside of this work, I’m someone who loves long walks, meaningful conversations, international travel, trying new foods, and wandering through bookstores.
